How do I know if I'm logged in?
The best way to tell if you're logged in is by looking at the blue
bar at the top of the screen, immediately below the Bayer HealthCare
logo. If it has the word "LOGIN" in it, it means you are not logged in yet, if has the word "LOGOUT" in it, it means you are.
How long will it take me to complete a course?
Each course should take you around an hour to complete, including all readings and the final test.
How do I take an exam or a test?
If you are progressing through a course in order, you will be shown a
page with a link to the appropriate test
after the required readings for that test. If you are not progressing
through the course in order, you may click directly on an
exam or test page in the Content Navigation when you feel that you are ready. You may also access tests or exams from the
Tests & Surveys link below the course navigation. This link is also the
place to find out how you did on any test. Finally, to see the status
of your final exam, the click on "Final
Exam Results" in below the Tests & Surveys link.
How do I get my certificate?
Upon completion of all 6 courses, you will receive your Certificate of Completion in the mail 4 – 6 weeks upon completion. The certificate will be mailed to the address that you provided upon registration in the program.
How do I change my password and/or personal information?
When you are logged in, click the "PROFILE" link in the
top blue bar. Change any
information you like, and click the Save button at the bottom of the
form. Please note that you must click on the password or email buttons separately in the
bottom blue bar to change either of these.
How do I get around in a course?
When you enter a course, you will be on the
course home page. The home page of a course shows you the
Content Navigation for the course,
and an introduction to the program. Click on any link in the Content Navigation
to go to that part of the course. If this is your first time visiting
the course, click on the link labeled Introduction - Course #. To
progress through the course in order, press the "Next Topic" button
at the bottom of the Content Navigation after completing the reading
for a given page. To get to the home page of the current course, select
the "Course Home" link in the Content Navigation or in the top blue bar.
I'm lost. How do I get back to where I was?
If at any time you are somewhere in the site that you didn't intend
to be, you can follow these steps to get back to where you were:
- If the page you are on doesn't look anything like the rest of the
Bayer Education site has looked, or if it is clearly a different
website altogether:
- Click the back button in your browser until you see the Bayer Education site again.
- If you can't go back any further, and still don't see the site, you
may have a "new window" open. If you look at the taskbar in Windows or
the dock on your Mac, you may see more than one browser window open.
Try the others until you see the Bayer Education site again.
- If neither of these techniques work, enter bayereducation.ca into the address bar in your browser to return to the site.
- If you are in a course, and the name of the course displayed in the breadcrumbs area
isn't the same as the one you want to be in, click on the Home link in the top blue bar, and select the course you wish to be in from the list
that appears.
- To return to a specific page of the course:
- Make sure you are in the course you want (see step 2 above)
- Click the name of the page you want to return to in the Content Navigation on the left side of your screen.
